European patents validated for Morocco will have the same legal effects in Morocco as national ones and will be subject to Moroccan patent law.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement that allows European patents to be validated in Morocco was announced on 19 January 2015 by the president of the European Patent Office and the Moroccan minister of industry.<\/p>\n<p>On 1 March, the agreement\u2019s entry into force will bring to 41 the number of countries in which it is possible to validate a European patent.<\/p>\n<p><em>Further information<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.epo.org\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">See EPO website<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EUROPEAN PATENT UPDATE In all European patent applications filed from 1 March 2015 it will be possible to request validation for Morocco.
