{"id":17246,"date":"2020-11-12T09:34:10","date_gmt":"2020-11-12T09:34:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sib.it\/?p=17246"},"modified":"2020-11-12T09:38:44","modified_gmt":"2020-11-12T09:38:44","slug":"brevetti-europei-procedimenti-orali-opposizione-solo-videoconferenza-dal-4-gennaio-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/en\/flash-news\/european-patent-opposition-oral-proceedings-videoconference\/","title":{"rendered":"European Patent oral opposition proceedings by videoconference only as from 4 Jan. 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EUROPEAN PATENTS &#8211; The European Patent Office (EPO) has announced that as of 4 January 2021 oral proceedings before opposition divisions will be held by videoconference only, in the light of restrictions on travel and health risks for in-person meetings caused by the ongoing pandemic.<img class=\"alignright wp-image-1255\" title=\"brevetti europei opposizione\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/EPO-logo.png\" alt=\"brevetti europei opposizione\" width=\"500\" height=\"250\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/www.epo.org\/law-practice\/legal-texts\/official-journal\/president-notices\/archive\/20201110.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Decision of the EPO President<\/a> of 10 November 2020 has extended until 15 September 2021 the pilot project for oral opposition proceedings by videoconference originally launched on 4 May 2020.
