{"id":23516,"date":"2022-12-06T09:11:31","date_gmt":"2022-12-06T09:11:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sib.it\/?p=23516"},"modified":"2023-01-20T10:23:11","modified_gmt":"2023-01-20T10:23:11","slug":"partenza-tub-posticipata-richieste-di-opt-out-dal-1-marzo-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/en\/flash-news\/italiano-partenza-tub-posticipata-richieste-di-opt-out-dal-1-marzo-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"UPC kick-off postponed, Sunrise period to begin 1 March 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>The Unified Patent Court\u2019s inauguration has been postponed until 1 June 2023, and the Sunrise period will begin on 1 March 2023; the postponement has not affected the decision of the European Patent Office (EPO) to start applying on 1 January 2023 the transitional measures encouraging an early uptake of the Unitary Patent.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Unified Patent Court\u2019s inauguration date has been postponed until 1 June 2023, and the Sunrise period will begin on 1 March 2023; the Unified Patent Court <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unified-patent-court.org\/en\/news\/adjustment-timeline-start-sunrise-period-1-march-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced\u00a0on 5 December 2022<\/a> that it has adjusted the timeline that it had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/en\/flash-news\/unified-patent-court-set-to-open-on-1-april-2023-according-to-official-implementation-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">set out at the beginning of October<\/a>.<img class=\"size-full wp-image-3863 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Justice.jpg\" alt=\"Tribunale unificato brevetti apertura\" width=\"424\" height=\"283\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Justice.jpg 424w, https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Justice-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 424px) 100vw, 424px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>According to the official statement, the decision to postpone the previously announced dates is related to the electronic hard device that users need to buy from specialised providers in order to access the UPC\u2019s online Case Management System (CMS) and sign documents electronically.
