Benzi masters degree in regulatory affairs<\/a>\u00a0of the University of Pavia are going to find out what makes a pharma trademark registrable on 23 June 2022, when\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/en\/our-team\/italian-trademark-attorney-besati\/\">Barbara Besati<\/a>\u00a0 holds her yearly talk on the topic.<img class=\"size-full wp-image-10347 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Farmaci.jpg\" alt=\"marchio farmaceutico registrabile\" width=\"425\" height=\"282\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Farmaci.jpg 425w, https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Farmaci-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Farmaci-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 425px) 100vw, 425px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Barbara will focus initially on the requirements a sign must meet in general in order to be registrable as a trademark, and then expand on the available kinds of registration.<\/p>\n<p>Closing in to pharmaceutical trademarks in particular, Barbara will explain the difference between a strong and a weak trademark, the criteria applied to assess novelty with regard both to the registration of pharmaceutical trademarks and to the marketing authorisation, and finally she will introduce the notion of trademark lapse for lack of use.<\/p>\n<p>We welcome the opportunity to engage with the students of the G.
