{"id":3536,"date":"2016-06-15T08:16:10","date_gmt":"2016-06-15T08:16:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sib.it\/?p=3536"},"modified":"2016-06-09T08:23:42","modified_gmt":"2016-06-09T08:23:42","slug":"al-seminario-internazionale-su-opposizione-marchi-in-messico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/en\/events\/seminar-trademark-opposition-mexico\/","title":{"rendered":"At the international seminar on Mexico\u2019s new trademark opposition system"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An international seminar on Mexico\u2019s new trademark opposition system is to take place in Mexico City on 15 June 2016, organised by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gob.mx\/impi\" target=\"_blank\">Mexican Intellectual Property Office<\/a> (IMPI).<img class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-3532\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Messico.jpg\" alt=\"Mexico map\" width=\"424\" height=\"283\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Messico.jpg 424w, https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Messico-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 424px) 100vw, 424px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The seminar aims to inform the main players in Mexican industry and commerce about the country\u2019s new trademark opposition system and how trademark opposition has been implemented in other jurisdictions.<\/p>\n<p>Sir Francis Gurry, Director General of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wipo.int\" target=\"_blank\">WIPO<\/a> (World Intellectual Property Organisation) and Antonio Campinos, Executive Director of <a href=\"https:\/\/euipo.europa.eu\/ohimportal\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">EUIPO<\/a> (European Union Intellectual Property Office) will both speak at the opening ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Many Mexican and foreign outstanding trademark experts are scheduled to speak during the day including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/en\/our-team\/lorenzo-litta-eu-trademark-attorney\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lorenzo Litta<\/a>, partner of SIB Societ\u00e0 Italiana Brevetti, who will focus on the advantages and challenges of the European Union\u2019s opposition system.<\/p>\n<p>Should you wish to arrange a meeting with Lorenzo Litta in Mexico City, please <a href=\"mailto:roma@sib.it\">email us<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An international seminar on Mexico\u2019s new trademark opposition system is to take place in Mexico City on 15 June 2016, organised by the Mexican Intellectual Property Office (IMPI).
