{"id":4618,"date":"2017-06-06T09:28:01","date_gmt":"2017-06-06T09:28:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sib.it\/?p=4618"},"modified":"2017-06-07T14:01:55","modified_gmt":"2017-06-07T14:01:55","slug":"disabilita-intellettiva-e-lavoro-oggi-a-roma-la-presentazione-della-rete-valueable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/en\/events\/supporting-valueable-a-european-network-of-employers-of-mentally-disabled-persons\/","title":{"rendered":"Supporting Valueable, a European network of employers of mentally disabled persons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>SIB supports Valuable, a European network\u00a0of restaurants and hotels that consider intellectually disabled workers a source of competitive advantage.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We are honoured\u00a0to take part in the presentation of Valuable, a European network of hotels and restaurants\u00a0 that have agreed to<strong> include persons with mental disabilities in their workforce<\/strong> at various levels, from work placements to full-time contracts.<img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4638 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Valueable.jpg\" alt=\"Valueable\" width=\"289\" height=\"286\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In Rome the presentation is taking place on 6 June 2017 in the Sala Multimediale of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lumsa.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">Universit\u00e0 degli Studi Maria SS. Assunta (LUMSA)<\/a> at 9,30, Piazza delle Vaschette 101. The event will be happening at the same time also in Lisbon and Zaragoza.<\/p>\n<p>The Valuable network is the result of the European project <a href=\"http:\/\/aipd.it\/progetti\/on-my-ownat-work\/\" target=\"_blank\">On my Own\u2026 at Work (OMO)<\/a>, funded by the European Commission and led by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aipd.it\" target=\"_blank\">Associazione Italiana Persone Down<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Among the project\u2019s achievements is an app for workers with disabilities that helps to carry out certain tasks at work independently, as well as 14 videos for tutors and colleagues on the job, to help establish a good working relationship with the new workers.<\/p>\n<p>A Quality Kit, designed to help employers, includes a code of socially responsible conduct, a support manual for the application of the code and for use of the Valueable mark.<\/p>\n<p>Societ\u00e0 Italiana Brevetti has supported the project by taking care of <strong>filing\u00a0the Valueable trademark with the EUIPO<\/strong> as well as by <strong>drafting rules on the use of the mark<\/strong> included in the manual.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SIB supports Valuable, a European network\u00a0of restaurants and hotels that consider intellectually disabled workers a source of competitive advantage.
