{"id":5083,"date":"2017-08-04T10:58:01","date_gmt":"2017-08-04T10:58:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sib.it\/?p=5083"},"modified":"2017-08-10T16:25:49","modified_gmt":"2017-08-10T16:25:49","slug":"one-million-euros-to-raise-awareness-about-intellectual-property","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/en\/flash-news\/one-million-euros-to-raise-awareness-about-intellectual-property\/","title":{"rendered":"One million euros to raise awareness about intellectual property"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>To raise awareness about intellectual property and the dangers of counterfeiting and piracy among students, young people, citizens in general and policymakers is the aim of the call for proposals that the European Commission is funding with one million euros.\u00a0 Deadline for applications is 25 September 2017.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The European Commission is investing one million euros to increase awareness about intellectual property and the damages of counterfeiting and piracy.<\/p>\n<p>A call for proposals titled <a href=\"https:\/\/euipo.europa.eu\/tunnel-web\/secure\/webdav\/guest\/document_library\/contentPdfs\/about_euipo\/Grants\/GR_001_17\/gr_001_17_call_notice_en.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Support for awareness-raising activities about the value of intellectual property and the damages of counterfeiting and piracy<\/a> has been published in the Official Gazette of the European Union on 28 July 2017.<img class=\"alignright wp-image-5090\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/young-people.jpg\" alt=\"rasing awareness about intellectual property\" width=\"553\" height=\"369\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/young-people.jpg 424w, https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/young-people-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 553px) 100vw, 553px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Eligible applicants<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Applicants considered eligible to respond to this call must be a legal entity, public or private, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>non-profit organisation, association NGO,<\/li>\n<li>public body at local, regional or national level,<\/li>\n<li>university foundation,<\/li>\n<li>private company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants must be registered in one of the 28 Member States and provide evidence from their country of registration certifying that the applicant is correctly established and registered for more than 2 years.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Eligible actions<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Only actions under the three lots below will be considered, taking into account the specific types of actions defined.
