On 10 July 2018 we will be discussing the topic during the course on &#8220;Research Exploitation&#8221; for graduate and post-doc students from the Faculty of Medicine of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unicatt.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Universit\u00e0 Cattolica del Sacro Cuore<\/a> in Rome.<img class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Lecture-students.jpg\" alt=\"Trasferimento tecnologico\" width=\"424\" height=\"283\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our partner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sib.it\/en\/our-team\/stefano-borrini-patent-attorney-plant-breeders-rights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stefano Borrini<\/a> will introduce the basic notions for understanding technology transfer and then focus on laws protecting intellectual property and\u00a0 strategies to develop research results.<\/p>\n<p>In the second part of the lecture, Stefano will look at <strong>how to file a patent<\/strong> from the point of view of procedure as well of drafting the application\u2019s contents.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How does tech transfer work for universities?
