The patent protection of nanotechnological inventions<\/strong> represents an exciting challenge for all those in the specialized circle.\"patent<\/p>\n

The scope of the chapter is to highlight how the patent protection of nanotechnological inventions implies a new interpretation and application of the general requirements of patentability.<\/p>\n

By relying on the Case Law of the Board of Appeal of the European Patent Office, author Claudio Germinario<\/a> illustrates with examples how the requirements of novelty, inventive step, industrial applicability, clarity, and sufficiency of disclosure apply in the nanotechnological platform.<\/p>\n
