SIB’s Paolo Veronesi to speak at 2026 OriGIn Expert Meeting on Geographical Indications
Our Geographical Indications expert Paolo Veronesi is to speak at the 2026 OriGIn Expert Meeting on Geographical Indications taking place 18-19 June 2026 in Geneva.
Paolo is to speak on the topic “The Protection of GIs Containing Non-Geographical Names: Recent Case-Law and Future Perspectives” together with Stefano Vergano of the firm Jacobacci, during the session on Trademark Applications and GIs moderated by Nicolas Guyot of the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property.
As well as gathering top expert for high-level discussions, the Expert Meeting brings together public authorities, producer organizations, legal experts, and private stakeholders from around the world to exchange ideas and build lasting collaborations.
