On 30 June 2026 our Sofia Santoro is to hold a lecture at the University of Bologna as part of the university’s Summer School week-long Programme on Chemical and Genomic-based Strategies in the Discovery of Novel Drug Targets.

Sofia’s topic is the protection of intellectual property rights on innovation in pharmacy and biotechnology, and she will be walking students through the essential steps on the path from lab to patent.

The University of Bologna’s Summer School offers Italian and international students or young graduates intensive programmes designed, inter alia, to meet the need for interdisciplinary learning.
