Paolo Veronesi, attorney at law and an expert on the protection of geographical indications and trademarks in the wine sector, will be attending the 43rd AIDV Conference 2026 taking place in Stellenbosch, South Africa, from 16 to 18 October 2026.

On 16 October Paolo will serve as Chair during the session entitled “Transnational and Homonymous GIs– (eg Irish whiskey, Jenever, Tokaj & Pisco)”.

Paolo is a member of AIDV – International Wine Law Association, an association founded in 1985 by European and US attorneys with the objective of creating a forum for studies and debate on legal issues of interest to the international wine and wine trade community.
