Filippo Meriggi wins the Under 35 award at Genova Design Week, patent to be granted soon
The 6th edition of Genova Design Week, came to a close on 25 May 2025; it transformed the city into a vibrant hub of creativity, innovation, and design culture. This international event featured over 140 programs, including exhibitions, experiential installations, and appearances by leading voices in contemporary architecture and design.
Among the highlights was the Designer Under 35 – Creative Flows competition, which focused on the theme “Less is Design”. The competition showcased the talent and vision of emerging young designers and was met with outstanding participation and acclaim.
Five young designers were handed the award this year: Indefinito Design Studio for the exhibit “Old Blacks”, Federico Fontanella for “Specchiella”, Filippo Meriggi for “Tac&Stac”, Giorgia Castelluccia for “Clam Stone” and Archeomaterico for “Telare la Materia”.

SIB is especially proud to share that SIB is advising Filippo Meriggi on the protection of the intellectual property rights for his innovative project, Tac&Stac. A patent for his creation has currently almost reached the stage of granting. It’s a great satisfaction for us to support groundbreaking ideas like Filippo’s on the journey from concept to protected innovation.
