Contributing to the International Wine Law Association’s 2025 Conference AIDV/IWLA

The International Wine Law Association‘s 2025 Conference is to taking place in Verona on 17-19 October 2025.

The International Wine Law Association, also known as AIDV/AIWLA, aims to provide a forum for studies and debates on legal questions affecting the wine community and wine trade throughout the world.International Wine Law Association’s 2025 Conference

SIB members Mauro Delluniversità and Paolo Veronesi are to attend the conference, with Paolo also working on the event’s organising committee.

A number of prominent wine law experts, including lawyers and court judges from several countries, are to speak during the sessions on topics ranging from trade channels to rules advertising and marketing of alcoholic beverages, and of course Geographical Indications.

The conference, that coincides with celebrations for the association’s 40th anniversary, offers attendees tours of Verona, Lake Garda and trips to the Soave and Valpolicella areas.
