• indication of the corresponding national trademark or European Union trademark on which the international trademark application must be based
• name and personal and tax details of the international trademark applicant
• indication of the states to be designated in the application.

Additional documentation which can be produced even after filing the application

• power of attorney for representation of the applicant in the filing procedure.
